This project included the creation of a yoga apparel company, logo and catalogue with spreads iillustrating the company introduction, index, product images and descriptions, and web home and product pages design. As the team's art director, I developed the project concept and rough catalogue composite, designed and drew the logo, selected and purchased the images from iStock Photos and books, and wrote the catalogue copy in addition to providing the art direction. Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign software were used.
2009 Floral Calendar
Water Colour Paintings

This 3 month calendar incorporates five full-color floral illustrations which I painted in a plein air artist group which meets on Thursdays. The paintings overlay each other with die cuts exposing the images beneath so that the garden continually blooms as each month is revealed. Orchids, Day Lilies, Irises and Poppies adorn this Calendar print design created with Adobe Photoshop and InDesign software.

Italia Logo and Identity Package
This branding, logo and identity package was created for the imaginary Italian Republic's Embassy of the United States. Adobe Illustrator and InDesign software was utilized to design the logo, letterhead, envelope and two-sided business card.

Olbrich Gardens Autumn Walk Event Poster

This event poster I created through on-site digital photography with image enlargement of this small flowering plant to create the composition for this floral illustration. The painting was scanned into Adobe Photoshop and a clipping path was created around the upper bloom so when used as a background in InDesign, the headline text appears to be between the plant and the painting's background.

About Designs

As a designer for many years in the areas of art, interior design and graphic design, my design abilities are diverse as shown by these design images.

The images shown are Graphic Designs utilizing my art and design education from Madison Area Technical College Graphic Design and Illustration classes. The illustrations include paintings of color media, inclusive of colored pencil, ink, acrylic, and water colour painting techniques learned throughout the years.
